Our guest speakers for tonight's meeting will be BMCS Phillips and BM2 Orozco from USCG Station Fire Island . They will go over the dredging in the Fire Island Inlet and any new regulations for 2022. Hope to see you all there!

Join Suffolk Marine Anglers for our 16th Annual Spring Bass Tournament benefiting Hospice Care Networks Children and Family Bereavement Center! Suffolk Marine Anglers has raised over $165,000 to date for this great charitable organization. Over $20,000 cash and prizes! Captains meeting will be held on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm, Millers Ale House Deer Park.
The next meeting will be on Wednesday, May 5th 2021 at 7:30 pm at Millers Ale House in Deer Park.
Our next meeting will be held Wednesday June 24th at Suffolk Marine North yard starting 6:30 pm weather permitting. We will have a simple BBQ with hamburgers and hot dogs. Water only. Sorry but we can NOT serve alcohol. It will count as a meeting and we will have a raffle. (raffle merchandise to follow) We are not having a guest speaker, just a hangout meeting to go over the rest of the year events.

Our friend Scott Motto over at Bergen Bay Dock reached out to me about doing a one day charity tournament this year only. We talked about the logistics and how we could make it work.
Here is how it will be. Saturday June 6th 6am start from your dock, weigh in by 5pm at Bergen Bay Dock $100.00 entrance fee per boat. $100.00 bass Calcutta, ( optional ) $25.00 bluefish Calcutta.( optional ) All of the $100.00 entrance fee goes to Island Harvest Food Bank. Bass Calcutta is winner take all. Bluefish Calcutta is winner take all. 2nd place tackle prize 3rd place tackle prize You can weigh two bass for a total combined weight. Heaviest weight total of combined bass or single weighed bass will be the winner. 2nd and 3rd place will follow suit. At least 2 fisherman per boat. Debb's inlet to Moriches inlet Sign up is open, drop off your money at Bergen bay dock Now thru June 4th. You will receive a rule sheet and asked for your cell phone number and boat information. There is no captains meeting but you can drop off non perishable food for a donation to the Food bank. At 5pm Saturday we will hand out the prizes and congratulate ourselves for once again fishing for a good cause ! Scott's place is good sized outside so social distancing can be practiced safely.
